You also have the right to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Newsletter
Since May 2018 we use MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC) to send newsletter emails to everyone that has subscribed to our newsletter. By subscribing to our newsletter you give us your consent (according to article 6 (1)(a) GDPR) to send you emails about our next concerts and other events concerning the Blues Club. MailChimp acts as a data-processor on behalf of the Blues Club in this regard. During the signup we only ask for your email address, your preferred language and your explicit permission to send you emails. MailChimp stores and processes this information together with the IP address from which you signed up. We do not give your data to someone else or allow MailChimp to use this data for anything else except sending the newsletter. MailChimp is a US company and might store your data outside of the European Union. MailChimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield framework. When you sign up to our email alerts, you agree to your data being stored in this way. Please check the privacy policy and the cookie policy of MailChimp for information how they store and process your data.
If you do not want to receive the newsletter anymore you can simply opt out by clicking on the opt out link in the last newsletter that we sent you. MailChimp will then remove all personal data related to you from our mailing list.
Ticket reservations, contact form and other emails to us
If you reserve a ticket for a concert via our website or use the contact form the submitted information is sent via email to one of the members of the Blues Club. We will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, to reserve the ticket or answer your question and any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your permission.
We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
The emails are sent via our hosting on QiuBits, a Luxembourgish company that hosts the data in Luxembourg. Qiubits acts as data-processor on behalf of the Blues Club in this regard. This is in the legitimate interest of the Blues Club (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Website Hosting
Our website is hosted by QiuBits, a Luxembourgish company that hosts the data in Luxembourg. Additionally our website hosts some images on OVH.
Both hostings keep log files that contain your IP address. These log files allow us to check for potential technical problems and attacks on the website. This is in the legitimate interest of the Blues Club website and both hosting companies (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Qiubits and OVH act as data-controllers for the data in the server logs.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), to get a better idea on how our website is used. On behalf of the Blues Club Lëtzebuerg, Google will process the gathered information like the type of your browser, the referrer and urls of the pages that you have viewed and and provide us with reports on the website activity. This allows us to evaluate the performance of the website which is in our legitimate interest so we can improve the website (article 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
To protect your privacy as far as possible we ask Google to anonymize your IP address which means that Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. We also load the Google Analytics tracking code only then if the Do Not Track settings of your browser allow this. More information about Do Not Track can be found here. Our website works fine without cookies (except the contact forms) so if you do not wish to be tracked you can simply disable your cookies. Please check the documentation of your browser for more information. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the Browser Add-on. Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The data sent by us to Google Analytics and linked to cookies, user-identifiers (e.g. User-IDs) or advertising-identifiers are automatically deleted after 26 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month. YouTube
Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. Since May 2018 we embed the videos using the ‘enhanced privacy’ mode, which means that Youtube does not store any data before you start playing the video.
If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified legitimate interest pursuant to article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
